Friday, August 20th: Doug Sloan was one of the featured candidates at an endorsement forum hosted by the DC Muslim Democratic Caucus at Howard University Law School (2900 Van Ness Street,NW). Doug Sloan won the straw poll over the incumbent, Eleanor Holmes-Norton and received the official endorsement 0f the DC Muslim Democratic Caucus!
Thursday, August 5th: Doug Sloan was the honored guest at a Meet & Greet at the home of Laura & Bill Slover in the Palisades neighborhood of northwest Washington (2844 Arizona Avenue, NW) from 6:30-8:30 pm. This was a great opportunity to come out & show your support for Doug!
Wednesday, August 4th: Doug Sloan was one of the featured candidates at a forum & straw poll hosted by the Ward Four Democrats at the St. George's Church (4335-16th Street,NW) from 6:pm-8:pm. Ward 4 residents, got a chance to come out to show their support for real change on Capitol Hill.
Wednesday, July 28th: Doug Sloan was the honored guest at a Meet & Greet at the home of Barbara & Michael Sloss in the Chevy Chase neighborhood of northwest Washington (5600 39th Street, NW) from 7-9:pm. This was a great opportunity to come out & show your support for Doug!
Saturday, June 26th: Doug Sloan attended the Shepard Park Citizen's Assoc. Picnic at Lowell School (17th & Kalmia Sts., NW), where he met with our neighbors in Colonial Village, North Portal Estates and Shepherd Park.

Saturday, June 19th: Doug Sloan was at the Matthews Memorial Baptist Church from 12pm-3pm. This was a great opportunity to meet the candidate! Voters also spoke with Doug at the Ward 4 Family Fun Day at Lafayette Elementary School. Doug Sloan was the honored guest at a Meet & Greet in Colonial Village West (1841 Sudbury Lane, NW) from 5-7pm.
Thursday, June 17th: Doug Sloan appeared at the DC Ward 3 Democrats Candidates Forum and Straw Poll where he spoke to residents about his platform and remained to meet and talk to Ward 3 residents afterwards. Doug Sloan won the straw poll over the incumbent, Eleanor Holmes-Norton by a vote of 41-19. Doug was just shy of getting the number of votes needed to gain the official endorsement 0f the Ward 3 Democrats. Wednesday, June 9th: Doug Sloan was the guest of honor at a Fundraiser for the Doug Sloan 2010 Campaign at Public Bar & Restaurant (1214 18th Street, NW) from 6-8:pm. This turned out to be a GREAT event! We had lots of donors come out to support Doug Sloan and his push for real change on Capitol Hill! Thanks to all who were involved!
Thursday, July 4th: Doug Sloan and Doug Sloan 2010 campaign volunteers marched in the Palisades Parade to celebrate Independence Day on Sunday! It was a great turn out for a great event in Ward 3! We would like to thank all our Ward 3 neighbors who came out to show their support!
